Well people, it's been a few days, and the weather has turned very wintery again. We had a thick frost this morning and everyone was complaining at the cold.

The chickens don't seem to mind, they fossick around the garden still finding worms, and thanks to some shell grit, Sally is back on form and popping out eggs.

Tomorrow we are going to a small farm living field day, so hopefully we'll meet a few folk and pick up some tips.

Ticket to Botany Bay is now available from the usual outlets and our local bookstore has kindly agreed to stock my second book.

Work is going slowly but surely on Book 3 and I have now embarked on Book 4 (I'll try not to get them mixed up LOL!)

A shout out to all you people up in Sydney still in lockdown; our thoughts are with you.

Stay safe and well everyone.

Sneek peek of Book 2! With the printers currently and hope to go live later this week in retailers.

From the author of “Ravenswood” we follow Grace Beale who is falsely accused of a crime and is transported to Australia for a minimum of 12 years. During a harrowing journey to Botany Bay, where she is at the mercy of the prison guards, she arrives in the penal colony and is moved to the Female factory to begin her sentence.

After a chance encounter with a man who has earned his ticket of leave, Grace starts a new chapter and together they build an empire.

Set in rural England and Australia, Ticket to Botany Bay charts the lives and fortunes of those who grasp fate with both hands.

My sincere thanks goes to Christiaan Kirkness for the fantastic book cover.

Ravenswood published!

Well folks, it's been crickets for a while in blogger land, but I am back and have created this blogspot to keep everyone in touch with what's happening in the land of writing!

Published in March of this year!
I am currently awaiting publication of Ticket to Botany Bay, my second novel.

Work is underway for book number 3 set in Australia and then moving to the Great War and the trenches of France.
